Coontree Picnic Area
The Coontree traihead provides parking and starting point for the 3.7 mile Coontree Loop Trail, but it also provides a popular picnic spot. A big part of its popularity is that it is adjacent to a swimming area in the Davidson River, complete with a steep bank from which to jump into the river.
