Curry Powders

Curry powders come in MANY different varieties, each tasting quite different from one another. The type of curry powder used makes a HUGE difference in the outcome of any recipe.
I use Penzey's Maharajah Curry Powder. EVERYONE who has tried this particular version loves it .. no doubt the saffron adds a lot to this overall appeal (and the price!). If you have a curry powder that you particularly love the taste of, use that. But if you are going to have to get some for a recipe, I'd definitely recommend starting with this variety.
